The Marketing Committee,
comprising members of the Distance Learning Centers, is to share knowledge and
develop an operational basis for pursuing activities among centers and vis-à-vis
customers, in order to support the process of intensifying local marketing. The
membership is designed to include members experience and professional expertise.
The work formula it develops will call for continual collaboration by country
DLC teams, promoting an ongoing exchange and democratization of decision-making.The
Committee, in a nutshell Proposed in the Annual GDLN LAC Regional Workshop
in Panama 2002, the Marketing Committee has decided on a series of tasks and activities
to achieve its aims. These include very intense interaction through data gathering,
training and information dissemination activities. The proposed activities
were approved in the coordination meetings, thereby promoting an inclusive, participatory

- Develop a training cycle in marketing issues relevant
to DLC operation.
