Two of the outcomes were: (a) In Argentina - Knowledge Sharing on SMEs’ related issues; and (b) In Uruguay - “Round Table” between Italy and Uruguay’s Software industry.

In Argentina: The Project has encouraged the Argentina entrepreneurs to compare their sector with other countries’ realities, and also to “come to terms” with their sectors’ shortcomings.

The opportunity of comparing ideas with foreign entrepreneurs has encouraged the Argentina SME: (a) to seek partnerships with Italian entrepreneurs; and (b) to promote a national SME network to achieve (i) effective distribution channels; and (ii) to improve their productive methods .

It should be highlighted that during an off - line session an Italian textile machine manufacturer provided technical assistance to an Argentinean guanaco (textile) producer to improve his production.

In Uruguay: A “Round Table” with the aim of sharing knowledge and possibly creating partnerships took place between the Italian and Uruguay Information Technology /Software sector.

The following institutions and organizations participated in the “Round Table”: Polytechnic of Milan (Italy), Agency for the development of North of Italy (Italy) , PROMOS ( Special Agency for the Milan Chamber of Commerce), Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology, ORT University (Uruguay).
