Program Focus - MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSMEs) DEVELOPMENT

The growth of micro and small business income and employment are vital to raise living standards and reduce income inequality among lower-income communities in Latin America. They account for between two-thirds and three-quarters of all private sector employment, half of which comes from micro businesses that operate on their own or employ fewer than 10 employees. It is in this context, that GDLN has launched four initiatives directed to addressing the challenges being faced by MSMEs in the region.

Capacity Building for the Cooperative Credit System in Argentina
